Autonomous Medical Robot "LU-K"

A human follower medical robot for patient tracking. Overcame hardware constraints to run YOLO and DeepSORT in real-time on edge devices.

Solved the 'occlusion problem' in dynamic hospital environments using a custom DeepSORT tracking layer.

Architected a hybrid processing pipeline: Low-level motor control in C (Hard Real-Time) communicating via serial with High-level Python inference.

Demonstrated successful navigation and patient following in unstructured test environments.
